Real Results. Honest Comparisons. Practical Guides.

Everything You Need to Make
a Confident Decision.

Case studies from real clients. A clear picture of what a TFG deployment actually looks like week by week. And an honest comparison of what sets TFG apart — without naming names or throwing shade.

Case Studies

Real Businesses. Real Outcomes.

Every number below came from an actual TFG client deployment. We don't publish case studies unless the client is happy to stand behind the result — and they always are.

FMCG · Wholesale
Sydney FMCG Distributor Moves from Spreadsheets to Real-Time Inventory
A mid-sized FMCG wholesaler managing 1,200+ SKUs across three warehouses was running purchase orders on spreadsheets and reconciling stock weekly. After deploying AUSPOS Inventory and the B2B portal, they moved to live stock visibility with automated reorder rules — and opened a new B2B online ordering channel for their trade accounts in the same go-live.

Medical · Consumables
Medical Consumables Supplier Achieves Full S2–S8 Compliance Across State Network
A national medical consumables supplier needed to manage controlled substance ordering across 14 clinic locations while satisfying AHPRA verification requirements and multi-tier approval workflows. MEDIPOS procurement module was deployed with full schedule compliance, MBR integration, and a 3-tier approval chain — completely replacing a manual process that had created compliance risk for three years.

Retail · Multi-Store
8-Store Retail Group Unifies POS, Inventory and Reporting Under One Platform
A growing retail group operating eight stores across NSW and VIC had a different POS system in almost every location — making consolidated reporting impossible and stock transfers a manual nightmare. AUSPOS was deployed across all eight stores in a phased 6-week rollout, with shared product catalogue, centralised inventory, inter-store transfers, and unified daily reporting from day one of go-live.

Buying Group Launches Member Ordering Portal with 200+ Account-Specific Catalogues
A national buying group needed a platform where 200+ member businesses could log in and see their own negotiated pricing, approved product lists, and order history — without seeing each other's terms. The AUSPOS B2B portal was configured with account-level catalogues, tiered pricing rules, and minimum order controls, giving every member a tailored ordering experience at scale.

Furniture · Retail + B2B
Furniture Business Opens B2B Trade Channel Alongside Existing Retail Operation
A furniture retailer with an established showroom operation wanted to open a separate B2B trade channel for interior designers and commercial fit-out clients — with different pricing, payment terms, and ordering processes. AUSPOS was extended with a trade portal that runs entirely separately from the retail POS, with no crossover of pricing visibility between the two customer types.

NDIS · Support Services
NDIS Provider Automates Claim Preparation and Supplier Billing Across 6 Regions
A mid-sized NDIS support coordination provider managing participants across six regional areas was preparing claims manually using spreadsheets and losing billable hours to reconciliation errors. HOSPOS was deployed with participant plan tracking, NDIS price catalogue management, and automated claim preparation — cutting billing cycle time significantly and reducing error-related write-offs.

Tools & Guides

From Day One to Go-Live in 6 Weeks.

This is what a typical TFG deployment looks like — week by week. For most businesses, we move from first discovery call to a fully live, configured, and trained platform in under six weeks. The only exception is businesses migrating large volumes of legacy data — that conversation happens in Week 1 and shapes the timeline from there.

Week 1
Discovery & Business Mapping
We learn your business before we touch the platform. Operations interviews, workflow documentation, and a clear picture of what you need, what you don't, and what order to build it in.

Week 2
Environment Setup & Data Migration
Your cloud environment is provisioned. User accounts and permissions are configured. Your existing data — products, customers, suppliers, pricing, order history — is migrated, validated, and loaded. Nothing goes live until it's verified clean.
Cloud environment live
All user accounts & permissions set
Product catalogue migrated & verified
Customer & supplier data imported
Week 3
Platform Configuration & Integrations
Every module is configured to your workflows — pricing rules, approval chains, POS layout, B2B portal structure, inventory rules, reorder thresholds. Third-party integrations (accounting, payments, logistics) are connected and tested.
All modules configured to your specs
Pricing & discount rules set
Accounting integration connected
Payment gateway tested

Week 4
Full Testing & UAT
End-to-end testing across all workflows. Your team walks through real-world scenarios — placing orders, processing stock, running reports — before a single real transaction is processed. Any issues caught here, not on go-live day.
Full end-to-end UAT completed
Edge case testing passed
All integrations verified live

Week 5
Staff Training & Documentation
Role-specific training sessions for every team member who touches the platform — from frontline cashiers to purchasing managers and business owners. Custom documentation written for your exact configuration, not a generic user manual.
Role-based training sessions run
Custom platform documentation delivered

Week 6 — Go-Live 🚀
You're Live. We're Right There With You.
TFG's team is on standby for the entire launch day and the first full week. Any issues are resolved in real time. Your staff are supported. Your business is running on a new platform — and you didn't have to shut anything down to get there.

What About Legacy Data Migrations?
For most businesses, 6 weeks is the story. The exception is large-scale migrations from legacy ERP or POS systems with years of complex, messy historical data. When this is the case, we identify it in Week 1, scope the migration properly, and give you an honest timeline — whether that's 8 weeks or 12. We'd rather tell you the truth upfront than rush a migration and create problems on go-live day. Either way, your business doesn't stop trading during the process — we run the migration in parallel with your existing systems until we're both confident everything is right.

Comparisons

No Names. No Blame.
Just the Facts.

We're not going to name competitors or tear down other platforms. Every software product exists for a reason, and the right tool depends entirely on your business. What we will do is show you — clearly and honestly — what TFG platforms deliver compared to what's typical in the market, so you can make your own informed decision.

If after reviewing this you think a different platform is a better fit for your business, we'll tell you that too. Our whole approach is built on getting the right outcome for your business — not making a sale.

Australian Made & Owned
Built in Australia, for Australian businesses. Our team, our servers, our support — all local.
Why this comparison matters
Most offshore platforms are built for the US or European market — Australian compliance, GST handling, and local payment methods are afterthoughts or paid add-ons.
When you call support, you want someone who understands Australian retail and wholesale operations — not a global help desk reading from a script.
Your data stays in Australian data centres — not sent offshore, not subject to foreign jurisdiction, not shared with third-party ad networks.

🇦🇺 Australian Made & Owned
TFG is an Australian company, built by Australians, for Australian businesses. Our platform was designed around how Australian retail, wholesale, and healthcare businesses actually operate — not adapted from a foreign market and localised as an afterthought. Your data is stored in Australian data centres, your support team is based in Australia, and your investment stays in the Australian technology ecosystem.
One Platform, Not Three Stitched Together
Most businesses in this market end up running a POS system, a separate inventory platform, and a bolted-on B2B ordering tool — all from different vendors, none of which fully talk to each other. TFG's platforms are built as single unified systems. Your POS, inventory, B2B portal, procurement, and reporting all live in one place, share one dataset, and work together from day one.
We Tell You If We're Not the Right Fit
This might be the most unusual thing we do. If after discovery we don't think our platform is the right fit for your business, we'll tell you — and we'll point you toward what we think is. This has cost us contracts. It's also why every client who does go live with TFG does so with full confidence, and why our retention rate is what it is.

Seen Enough?
Let's Talk About Your Business.

No obligation. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about what you're trying to solve and whether TFG is the right fit.
